Unisex Hat Crochet Pattern

There are so many designs for ladies, but not much for guys (that's what my husband said with a sad face) So I designed a men's hat and realized this pattern can be used for ladies(again)just by using girlish colors.
So this hat pattern comes in two sizes.

Which one???

My new addiction: fabric flowers. They can be used several ways; on hats, scarves, bags...I made one for a green hat, "unfortunately" both sides of the flower can be used, it gives SEVERAL options how to finish it.

Wiener Dog Door Draft Pillow How To DIY Tutorial

The tutorial how to make this dog is available in my store. And that's my new cat, we found her on the street next to a barrel looking for food, she was about 3-4 weeks old. She is very interested in dogs when she's not sleeping.

A New Textured Pillow

Wow, my last post was in January :o

Well, I am still alive and still crafty! I have been working on mostly crochet stuff, but I have some new sewing projects too. My store is full with hat crochet patterns-just in time for the holidays! I came up with some new sewing tutorials too with the help of my sister (she is on the third picture), we are both dressmakers. We are working as a team now, she is doing the sewing-taking pictures part, I am the writer. These are our latest projects.

Weed On My Wall

I wasn't in a good mood yesterday, so I put my favorite CD in the player, turned up the volume (I guess my neighbour didn't like it, oh well) and started to create. I had the paint already, it's a "Benjamin Moore" color sample, which is $3.99. It's not professional, but I had a good time, and it was cheap. By the time I was listening to the same CD for the 3rd time, it was finished.

Crochet Pet Hat and Kerchief

Felted Crochet Bag

I used wool yarn for this bag and felted after it was finished. Next time I will use regular yarn, I liked the bag more before felting. Pattern is available in my Etsy store.

Valentine's Day

Using the same crochet pattern for 2 projects: a little pillow or pin cushion and a card.
I used size 3 crochet thread for the pillow, it's about 5" tall. Any kind of yarn can be used. The thicker the yarn, the bigger the heart.

Hoooks

Finally I made a case for my crochet hooks. From now on they will be together nice and organized.

Getting Ready For Christmas

I didn't do to much yet, since I grew up in Europe, we don't have the Christmas tree until Christmas eve. Our Christmas is a little bit different. Santa comes on December 6th with a bag of sweets and Jesus brings the tree and the presents on the 24th. December 25th and 26th are Christmas first and second days. So we have three days of Christmas!
Even it's a little bit different, we are getting ready the same way as American people. Shopping, cooking, decorating our homes.....getting nice candles....just like these, mmmm
I ordered a wonderful candle from etsy, it smells like Christmas tree!!! Even we don't have a tree yet, we have the smell of it!!! I ordered the "Home" one to make our little apartment "homey". It says
"A house is made of wood and stone, but only love can make a home."
I LOVE it!!! Thanks Marla!!!

Recycled Wool Sweater

I shrunk my never-worn pure wool sweater....oops.
So I washed it again, dried it in hot drier and made this bag.
